2006 overflowing

The editors at MusicWeb asked us to select some highlights of 2006, but in New York that task can seem almost impossible.  Nevertheless, here are some of the concerts that will linger for a very long time, and a few others nipping at their heels.  A few of these came near the very end of the year, such as this highly charged afternoon by Pierre Boulez and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
