Continuing with quotations, On an Overgrown Path has found exactly the right one to begin the new year. It would have made a fine toast on New Year's Eve, when I was in Washington, DC, celebrating with friends at an amusing, slightly campy show by Peaches O'Dell and Her Orchestra at the Black Cat.
